"A Teenage Dream's So Hard To Beat" was installed on the BT Building in Derry for the Lumiere Festival, run by Artichoke and commissioned by Derry/Londonderry UK City of Culture 2013, from the 28 November to the 1 December. The neon installation is 30 metres long and just under 2 metres high. The lyric comes from the song Teenage Kicks written and performed by one of the most famous bands to come from Derry "The Undertones". The artwork is a celebration of what it is to be young and to never loose sight of your dreams. Local reaction to the installation was hugely positive and work is underway to keep Teenage Kicks as a piece of permanent public art in Derry/Londonderry."
